Spiritual and Social Commission
The Chorale le Bon Berger Kigali works as a choir in Saint Michael Parish, Archdiocese of Kigali. Its structure is centered on a committee that coordinates and directs the choir, three choir commissions, the four voice groups and the general choir members.
The spiritual and social commission of Chorale le Bon Berger Kigali is split into two sub-commissions (spiritual and social part). The spiritual part is represented by 3 persons: Spiritual Mother, Spiritual Father and the person in charge of organizing the liturgical services. Their task is to organize, coordinate and plan the activities of this commission. Some activities of this commission are the direction and organization of the monthly choir prayer that takes place on the first Monday evening of each month, planning and organizing the choir novena, charity actions such as visits and help for the poor, the sick, people with disabilities, people in prisons.... The social part is represented by two people who are responsible for controlling discipline and sociability among the choir members.
Mission
The mission of the Spiritual and Social Commission of Chorale le Bon Berger Kigali is to empower choir members to sustain their spiritual growth through planned prayers and assist in contributing to charitable actions so that they may receive their awards in heaven as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, and to maintain social connection among ourselves.
Vision
Our hope and expectation as the Spiritual and Social Commission of Chorale le Bon Berger Kigali is to build a strong platform of quality singers who truly pray from the heart.
